JHS Foundation hosts our International Artist-In-Residence program in Nice France.

Good News! All 2020 International Artists will be awarded a JHS (AIR) Foundation Grant.

Two Week Residency $3,000

1. May 1, 2020 - May 16 - 2020

May 17, 2020 - June 1, 2020

JHS TWO WEEK FOUNDATION GRANT $750.00 Your actual cost: $2,200.

Four Week Residency $5,000

2. May 1, June 1, 2020

JHS FOUR WEEK FOUNDATION GRANT $1,500.00 Your actual cost: $3,500.

Accepted Artists are to provide their flight Itenary to Nice,France. Arrangements will be provided for a driver to meet you and bring you to the Villa upon arrival.

Artists have a private bedroom, studio space and a Continental Breakfast daily.

Kitchen facilities are shared, local markets, cafe’s and restaurants are all nearby.

Upon Acceptance each artist will be required to make a $1,000. deposit, with the remaining total due one month prior to the start of the residency ( April 1, 2020 ) Payable: by Check to the JHS Foundation or through online donations: JHSartsfoundation.org

Deposit and Grant are applied towards payment and are non-Refundable. All prices are in US Dollars.

If the accepted artists wishes to bring a guest, an additional 30% of the residency will be added to cover organizational expenses.

Artists must hold a valid passport. Travel insurance is recommended.

In exchange for the grant The Artist agrees to contribute one work to the permanent collection of the JHS arts foundation.
